FUN Day!!! ;
Friday, August 31, 20074:09 AM

Today is one of the best Fridays so far. Sure the Geometry long test took most of my mental energy for the day (Geom is one of my weak subjects.), and I couldn't see anything with my microscope during Biology (The light hates me.), but the rest of the day almost went my way (That rarely happens now.).

We had Filipino in the seminar room. Yay! There's air-con! It's too bad that I didn't bring some popcorn because I was quite hungry.

We had Soc Sci after Bio. After cramming the essay part of my homework, I tried to hyper cram for the graded recitation on Hinduism, just in case someone would get my class number. And it turned out that Ada did pick my number. I was nervous because I didn't know the answers to the questions that the people before me had to answer (Only Nick gave a sure answer.). The first question I got had something to do with the Law of Manu, which I did not know. The second one, by the grace of God, was about the unity and diversity in Hinduism. I wasn't 100% sure of my answer, but I said what I thought was right and Ma'am Ynigo told me I was quite close to the exact answer. YEY!

My morale went down a little during Com Sci because I made a lot of stupid mistakes regarding the floating-point values. Oh well...at least the room had air-con. :P

Chem was fine. I didn't get the lesson that well but TJ and other people helped me answer the problems using a way different from Ma'am Velasco's. But she still accepted my solutions so it was fine. Ada drew a comic strip where a dude shot the floating-point with a shotgun, which was quite funny to behold.

We swam again in PE. Sir made us do fifteen laps in fifteen minutes. It was fine. Tutti was extremely fast when we were swimming. So were Jasmine and Ada. I also got cramps in my right leg right after I finished the last lap. Perfect timing. Once the cramps were gone, we all headed to the deep part of the pool. I really enjoyed diving to the bottom of the pool, touching the ground with my hands and feet, and then kicking off to the surface again. Again, Tutti and Ada showed their prowess in diving/jumping.

We all headed to the seminar room again afterwards to take the personality test. Because we (girls) were late, we didn't practice anymore for any class presentation. I also went to the Guidance Center to see my study habits results. I'm glad that my study habits are average. Here's a big grin to show it: :D

Today was a really good day, even if swimming tired me a bit.

I condemn Saturday classes. ;
Wednesday, August 29, 20074:02 AM

I do not like Saturday classes. (>.<) That means I only have Sunday to rest and cram. That means it's all work and little play, which really doesn't work for me (I'm one lazy procrastinator.). To make things harder, there are still a lot of class performances to practice. I refuse to have Sunday practices. No way am I going to let my free day disappear.

Thursday schedule will be followed on Saturday. That's just sad because that's one of the worst schedules for Champaca. At least Ma'am Orate believes that Saturday classes are a drag. She said that she won't be around to teach us on Saturday. So that means there won't be a lesson for Algebra. Seatwork only. :D

But still, I don't like Saturday classes. *glares at Geometry*

Lost Passion ;
Monday, August 27, 20077:31 AM

Something is horribly wrong with me right now. It's something that I never thought I'd say.

I've lost my inspiration to write.

I'm not referring to my fanfics. I have to admit that those are very crappy. I'm referring to my other manuscripts. I have a lot of them.

I started writing when I was in the sixth grade because a friend of mine inspired me to write when she let me read her fanfics (during classes) and I never really stopped, until now. I wrote stories that came to my head. I wrote stories that no one else has ever seen. Some of them were inspired by true events such as Word War II. Others on the other hand were set in worlds that I created.

I never really got to finish them because another idea would come and I would write it down because I was afraid I would forget it. I swore to finish all of them and hopefully let my closest friends see them, but now I just can't. Nothing is entering my head right now. No new ideas. The only ideas I get seem to come from other books that I've read, and I don't want to copy them.

Something is wrong. Someone please help me.

Sophomore Recollection ;
Saturday, August 25, 20078:31 AM

For the first time in so many Saturdays, I had to wake up early. I would have to admit that I had one of those "Why should I go to recollection anyway?" feelings. I was annoyed with the fact that the recollection happened on a Saturday. But then, I can say that I enjoyed the recollection. ^_^

So my section was paired with Dahlia. I'm not close to a lot of people from Dahlia, and I only know some people by name. Of course I've shared several conversations with Lordom (Who hasn't?) but that's basically it. I would have preferred Ilang-Ilang or Adelfa because Oona, Jil, Cleo, Lean, and Arriele are there but I guess everything turned out fine.

The activities seemed boring at first because it was all talk and no action. There were "bonding sessions" but I ended up straying away from my group because I was OP and no one seemed to want to talk anyway. I ended up playing dots with Ada after a while. We were also given a chance to confess our sins, but we had to go by groups. Even though it wasn't my group's turn, I was able to confess earlier than my groupmates because I went with Ada (I was OP with my group. They seriously do not like talking.). I just wanted to continue our game of dots, but the guy (forgot his name...he has white hair...a lot of white hair) told me to confess so it wouldn't be a waste of time. So, I confessed. Ada took a longer while because she and the priest had a discussion regarding abortion. XD

Nothing really interesting happened for a while. Our speaker just talked and I really started to fall asleep and wake up again every now and then. But we had another activity which really required good teamwork. Supposedly, we were all passengers in a plane that crashed and we (five people per group) had injuries such as not being able to use your limbs, blindness, not being able to talk, etc. We were required to make an SOS tower out of straws, tape and index cards because we were supposedly stranded on an island. My new groupmates (my real groupmates had their confession during the beginning of the activity) were: Ada (mute), Nick (blind), Yeyel (mute and can't use one of his arms), and Joel (same injuries with Yeyel, except on the other arm). I wasn't allowed to use my arms and legs but I was allowed to speak. Building the tower was hard, but my groupmates were very funny. Ada wanted to tell me a lot of things, but I couldn't make out of some of the things she was saying. Nick, whom I asked to cut tape for us, kept on saying things such as:

"Is that Ma'am Sagucio? How far is she?"

"How high is the tower?"

"Is it a leaning Tower of Piza?"

"WHERE IS THE TAPE?!"

He also became a bit emo because he couldn't see anything. Yeyel tried to tell me to say things out loud to other people, but he was mute so he only used hand signals. He looked quite comical. I felt quite useless because I couldn't do anything to help them except tell them what to do. Our group also managed to "barter" with the "merchant" and so we got five more straws.

In the end, our tower was the tallest. It fell off when the "typhoon came" but it was fine because all of the other towers fell as well (XD). Ours also stood even when they raised it and dropped it. Hehe. It really was a fun activity.

We had the mass afterwards. Ada and I sat at the very back, and I was made to offer the letters of Champaca (I carried Jasmin's as well). It turns out that they're going to give them to our parents during the card-giving (Shoot. I did not take it seriously.). The recollection ended after that.

I went to SM North Edsa after that to watch "Pisay" again. My mom and my lola weren't able to see it and they were interested. Goma also came along because his entire family wanted to see the movie as well. I saw Gedrick and his family there as well. After the movie, we ate at Mexicali and went home.

Pissed... ;
Friday, August 24, 20075:19 AM

I just can't believe this happened.

What seemed to be such a good day ended when I found out that I wasn't the only victim of injustice. Other people were as well. To make matters worse, we all know that it's not supposed to be this way...well, at least we think so. We know that we did well. We know that we worked hard. And yet, this is what we get.

Teachers have favorites. I know that's natural. But then, that doesn't mean that their favorites should get higher than the other people, especially when those other people did better than them in some projects. I, for one, did not sleep for one whole night just to do one project. My back hurt for more than two days and I couldn't feel my legs for a while. Plus, the sight of needles and threads and gingerbread men now make me feel sick.

I am not trying to offend anyone here. I just feel awful. So just bear with me.

Usual Day ;
Thursday, August 23, 20075:09 AM

What can I say about this day?

Aside from getting my grades for some of my subjects (In the name of all that is good and holy, I really need to do better. [Ada is really starting to influence me now and I'm not sure if that's good or bad.]), we had the usual Pisay school day.

VE was fun because we used the Art room again and Ada and I had our little debate regarding Ma'am Sarmago's lesson. I got another quote from Ada: "I do not believe in what you're saying, but I will defend your right to say it."

And as for Tech Skills, I've made some progress with my word. I do hope that it turns out well and I'll get enough time to submit it. (Ma'am Xavier, please have mercy.)

I also found out today (actually last night, but I didn't really want to believe it) that we're going to have Saturday classes for a while. One word: HELL.

Another Test ;
Wednesday, August 22, 20074:32 AM

Jejo really is a good source of interesting tests. This time, I took two tests. The first one is supposed to help me find out what my personality type is. The second one should help point out the multiple intelligences I probably possess. If you are into this kind of tests then you should try them for yourself. Here are the results:

Click to view my Personality Profile page

I really am not so sure about being an INTP. But then, the description says that they are drawn to debates and discussions. With recent events, I have a reason to believe that this may be true. :P

Missing HW! ;
Sunday, August 19, 20072:08 AM

After being deprived of internet access for...ever (actually, it's only a few days :P), I finally got it back. The camp finally fixed the PLDT problem (no dialtone) so I can now connect to the internet using dial-up (still no wifi *sobs*).

I just realized now that my SS homework on Christianity is GONE. That means I have to rewrite it. Oh well, Fanfiction and YouTube will have to wait for a while... T_T

...and as for the other homeworks...they shall be crammed. :P

I got this one from Joaq. I had nothing to do and the test seemed interesting.

You scored as PoliticalScience/Philosophy, You should strongly consider majoring (or minoring) in Political Science, Philosophy, or related majors (e.g., Criminal Justice, Economics, Geography, History, International Business, Journalism, Sociology, Urban Studies, Women's Studies).

It is possible that the best major for you is your 2nd, 3rd, or even 5th listed category, so be sure to consider ALL majors in your OTHER high scoring categories (below). You may score high in a category you didnt think you would--it is possible that a great major for you is something you once dismissed as not for you. The right major for you will be something 1) you love and enjoy and 2) are really great at it.

Consider adding a minor or double majoring to make yourself standout and to combine your interests. Psychology, Sociology, Business Management, French, German, Spanish, Chinese, and Arabic are all great minors for PoliSci majors. Please post your results in your myspace/blog/journal.

Random Post ;
Thursday, August 16, 20077:43 PM

THIS IS VERY RANDOM. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I bought Oona's birthday gift yesterday. I know it's still early but I finally got something that might be useful. It's pink as well. (To Oona: I hope you like it. :D)

--------

I found another layout. I like it more than the old one because I am a very messy person. The words coming out of the head of the person are from Avril Lavigne's "My World", which is one of my favorite songs from her first album, "Let Go". Besides, rainbow colors just rock. XD

No Classes (Again!) ;
Wednesday, August 15, 20077:14 AM

I love August. A lot of the schooldays have been and will be taken away so we can relax and laze around and do nothing productive enjoy ourselves. We do need it. This year is quite stressful (and disappointing for some people) compared to last year. I really miss being a freshman, but hell, I'm a sophie and I have to live with it.

Anyway, since there are no classes tomorrow, all of the homework that was supposed to be due tomorrow or on Friday are now due on Friday. Being a lazy person and a known procrastinator, you can expect me to start them tomorrow in the last minute. It's a habit that's hard to change. X_x

Even though I can see that being a student of Sir Martin has its disadvantages (Revenge of the non-Sir Martin students!), I still want to be his student. Wu Wei just sounds so fanscinating. I read more on the details of the game and the abilities of each element a few days ago, and I saw another one of the Sir Martin handouts (courtesy of Goma). It really made me feel slightly jealous because I knew that they will probably have more fun than me. But then, I don't want to judge Ma'am Ynigo yet. She may have a few tricks up her sleeve. Only time will tell.

This post is quite erratic. (Note: I think this way and I'm too sleepy right now to fix it. My eyes hurt. T_T)

Miguel is Psychic! ;
Saturday, August 11, 20078:49 AM

I shall grant my good friend Nikki (Olivia Dominique) her wish. For those who can't really comprehend with posts in Filipino or can't comprehend with my way of writing in Filipino, then you're in luck because this post is in English. (But honestly, you should try to write/speak/read Filipino more. It is our national language. I really despise those who are ashamed of speaking in Filipino because they think they're too good for it. You can all go to hell.)

Nothing much happened today. I lazed around and didn't do anything productive (I slept, ate, watched TV, used the laptop, played PS2...you get the point.). Nothing interesting happened today until this afternoon. My brothers were napping on the sofa/bed when Ate Sally came and asked if Paeng was asleep.

"Naligo si Paeng."

Miguel said that in his sleep. After a few seconds, Paeng woke up and went to the bathroom to take a bath. Ate Sally and I stared at each other and laughed. When we asked Paeng why he woke up, he told us that he was feeling hot and he wanted to cool off with a bath. He didn't recall hearing anyone telling him to take a bath.

"Ang galing ni Miguel!" Ate Sally said this and looked at my clueless little brother, who was still fast asleep.

Wow. So Miguel is psychic. I do hope that he says: "Mataas grades ni Ate Trixy." next time. I'm serious here. :P

May Pasok Na... ;
Friday, August 10, 20076:38 AM

Sayang.

Aww...

Kami ata yung huling grupo. Halos wala akong gagawin ngayon kasi may nagawa na ako. ^_^

Walang Pasok (Ulit) ;
Thursday, August 9, 200712:35 AM

Grabe. Walang pasok ulit.

May band akong natuklasan dahil kay Oona. Sila ay "The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus".

No Classes! ;
Tuesday, August 7, 20077:25 PM

So my wish (see last post) did come true.

Early in the morning, the rain was pouring and the wind was strong. Some invisible force was pulling me down on the sofa when my mom woke me up. My instinct kept on telling me to just lie down and sleep because I had a strong feeling that there won't be any classes today. But my mom told me that there was no news yet about that in the radio, which had been turned on. She told me that I had to go to school, even though I tried to explain to her that it is impossible (in my opinion) to have any classes with this kind of weather.

The phone rang. It was Ada. She told me that there might be no classes today. She told me that she'd call again when she was sure about that. But she didn't call again. So, I had no choice but to give in to my mom and get ready for school.

Since I woke up late, I skipped breakfast (again!) just so I wouldn't take so long to get ready. Goma and his mom came to pick me up. We all weren't sure if we had classes.

When we arrived at Pisay, there was a long line of cars. Students were getting off and parents and students asked the guard if there were classes. The guard told us that we just had to wait for the announcement.

The moment I got out of the car and went to the front lobby, Sir Joey suddenly came from the Humanities building saying, "No classes!"

DARN. MY INSTINCT WAS RIGHT.

There were cheers and people were happy. I searched the tables for people I could hang out with. I saw Riscia and Cess and Franco. I asked Franco about our El Fili presentation. We realized that we needed Ada to go to school because I gave her my box of split pins . She also had some of the puppets. We wanted to practice for the presentation. I also needed Ada in school so we could do our Art quilt.

I tried to use my cell phone to call Ada or send a message, and I saw that several people tried to call me. Oona was one of them. Some people even texted me that there were no classes. Gah, if only I didn't put my phone in silent mode...

Ada told us that she didn't want to go to school because there were no classes. In the end, Franco and I decided that I should pass by Ada's house and drop off my puppets. I will also give the quilt to her because she still has her part to do.

Gino had the quilt, so I had to go to the BRHA. Franco, Rainier, Jil and Vince came along. If I recall correctly, even Lordom was there. We went to the caf after that. I didn't really do much after that aside from going to one place to another with different people. In the end, I found out that I was the only extern when I made libot with BJ, Ralph, Jelo, and other dormers. I felt a little OP because I was the only extern in the group (T_T).

Thank goodness Sarge was there when I came to the front lobby. After saying goodbye to the dormers, I finally left Pisay. The time in my cell phone was 9:09 am.

I do hope that we don't have any classes tomorrow again. The schedule inThursday sucks and...well, I'm just really lazy to wake up and attend my classes. XD

Time to watch TV, watch anime DVD's, and hopefully finish the second season of Jigoku Shoujo! Hippen shinde miru?

Law of Ueki's showing in Animax right now! YEY!

May homework ulit. Double T_T

Triple T_T

In other words: Sana walang pasok bukas!
